Bora Isbulan, joined the Plaza Premium Group in 2020, and has been instrumental in steering PPG’s global expansion, which targets to expand from over 180 lounges to over 500 lounges by 2024/25 through growing both the Plaza Premium Lounge venues and through affiliate lounge networks.
Seasoned business leader, Bora Isbulan possesses international experience in managing revenue growth and strategic portfolio expansion for global companies including his 10-year tenure in TAV Operations Services as CEO. He had led business strategies in 28 countries covering Europe, Americas, the Middle East and India.
Prior to TAV, Bora held various managerial roles at a global retail group and worked in the USA, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Moldova. A mechanical engineering graduate from Bogazici University, Istanbul, he also held master degrees in Business Administration and Operations Management from University of Texas at Dallas, US. He speaks English and Turkish and conversational level of Arabic and Russian
As Plaza Premium Group’s Deputy CEO, Bora Isbulan oversees PPG’s global growth and revenue generation, and leads the Business Development, Commercial, and Marketing divisions. He is also responsible for creating a wider global network built via strategic consolidation and alliances with industry players, positioning PPG within the top 100 busiest airports worldwide.
Subsequent to the Group’s business transformation strategy towards the future of travel, he had led the team to re-engineer travel demand strategy by reassessing the needs of the industry and direct consumers, as well as implementing aggressive growth planning & supply strategy by addressing the diversified needs of global customers.
To enforce the Group’s “Build Back Better” mission post pandemic, Bora Isbulan drives an industry-wide business re-modelling exercise to consolidate resources and efforts to support demand and distribution, as a goal to reformulate current product and distribution offerings and reshape distribution dynamics through strategic partnerships.
Bora Isbulan also led the Group to introduce the new Airport Passenger Service Solutions to airports and level up information and technology driven decision-making to further enhance customer experience, product creation, operation efficiency and commercialisation for both partners and the Group.
