Christopher Birch

Christopher Birch is currently Director, Guest Experience at San Francisco International Airport. He manages the Customer Care office, Travelers Information volunteer program, and creates and manages unique programs aimed at improving the guest experience and customer understanding. Award-winning concepts such as Quiet Airport and Travel Well Ambassadors reflect his commitment to creating experiences that are memorable and customer focused. Prior to SFO, Christopher worked at Alaska Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways in various cities and customer service roles. Travel and aviation are his primary interests outside of work. A native Californian, he lives in his favorite US city, San Francisco, after having been raised in Los Angeles and attended university in Massachusetts. Christopher earned his IAP designation in 2017.
