Milla Saaristenperä is the New Equipment Business director for KONE responsible for Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia and Ukraine. She is also responsible for Marketing and communications in the region. In her role she leads the sales of elevators and escalators in the region from small residential apartment buildings and shopping centers to landmark office towers and airports. A Finnish national, she is currently based in Warsaw, Poland. She joined KONE in 2014 and has carried various roles both globally and within regions. Before current role she worked as Business Development Director and was a member of KONE Volume elevators business line global leadership team. In this role she led major product launch programs creating new value to KONE customers and end users. Product launches included e.g. world’s first digital platform elevators (KONE DX Class) with strong focus on improved end-user experiences, and Construction acceleration offering helping KONE customers to build faster, more efficiently, and more sustainably.

Milla is enthusiastic about the role of effective, safe and comfortable People Flow® to end user experience; digitalization especially in the context of smart buildings and smart cities; sustainability in constructions and buildings through-out their lifecycle; construction productivity; and in general helping make cities better places to live. Milla loves traveling, typically with a large group of friends, and has visited close to 60 countries around the world. In addition to her native Finland and current Poland, she has also lived and worked in the US, Australia and France. Milla is also a music fanatic, and spends most of her free time listening to music, singing, playing the piano, and dancing.
