Pim Godefroy
Pim is an international expert in services provided for disabled people and people with reduced mobility (PRMs) in the field of aviation. Trained originally as a clinical psychologist and specialist in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology, he has worked in this field for over almost 40 years.
In 1988 Pim started a professional PRM assistance company at AMS and was 20 years involved in the PRM operations at Schiphol and in parallel also in BRU for 7 years.
Since 2007 Pim is a full time trainer for PRM staff and trainers at airports based on and complying with the legislation in force in this field, like the EU Regulation 1107/2006 and the ACAA in the USA.
Pim is director and trainer of Passepartout Training, a specialized company in training on PRM issues. In Europe about 50 airports are clients for the training courses, following the legal obligations.
Not only staff for PRM assistance must be trained, but also all staff in contact with the travelling public. Passepartout provides training dedicated to the different jobs in the airport, like security staff and ground handling companies.
