Robyn McVicker
Robyn McVicker is the Vice President, Passenger Journey for Vancouver Airport Authority (YVR). Robyn has more than 20 years’ experience working for some of British Columbia’s top destination organizations including Capilano Suspension Bridge Group of Companies, Canada Place and Vancouver Coast & Mountain Tourism Association. Robyn holds a Masters of Leadership from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University. She is the regional representative for the ACI World Facilitation and Services Standing Committee. Robyn became Chair of the Board of Directors for Destination Vancouver in June 2021.
As Vice President, Passenger Journey, Robyn’s responsibilities include the end-to-end passenger experience through Vancouver’s award-winning airport including day-of operations, emergency response, customer care, passenger experience, in-terminal food & beverage and retail, security and emergency planning. She has introduced a host of changes to support the vision of creating an exceptional passenger experience that is Digital by Default, Human by Choice. Vancouver International Airport (YVR) was named Best Airport in North America for a record 12 years in a row by Skytrax International Airport Awards. Robyn led the transformation of airport operations through COVID-19 and was honoured YVR was recognized as the only Canadian Airport to receive the Skytrax COVID-19 Airport Excellence Award.
