Bongiwe Mbomvu

Bongiwe joined Airports Company South Africa in 2013 as the Group Executive: Governance and Assurance, a position she held until she was formally appointed as the Acting CEO on 1 December 2018. Prior to her role at Airports Company of South Africa she worked for various companies such as Old Mutual, Sanlam, Norwich Life and Eskom.

She has a Bachelor of Social Science degree, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Cape Town and she is an admitted attorney. She serves as a non-executive director for Precinct 2A a subsidiary of ACSA. She is also the Chairman of the Executive Regulatory and Risk Committee, a member of the Executive Committee, the Transformation and Sustainability Committee and the Operations Committee of Acsa. Outside of ACSA she has served as a Council member for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) from September 2014 until September 2018. She currently is a Non-Executive director for FOSKOR (Pty) Ltd.
